The hospitable Hotell Björkängen is located in the southern part of Kosta., about 1.5 km from Kosta Glassworks. It has 26 rooms, a dining room and conference facilities for up to 50 people. The hotel also offers hyttsill (hot-shop herring) evenings at the glassworks in keeping with tradition, an extraordinary experience.

Lodging
Björkängen has 26 double rooms available. All of the rooms have private showers and WCs that were renovated in 2008 and are immaculate. Certain rooms are in separate buildings, and the guests there have private patios. These rooms can also be made into family rooms for two adults and two children up to 13 years of age.

Conferences
Hotell Björkängen has a large conference room that can accommodate up to 60 people as well as a smaller room with space for up to 20 people. The rooms are fully equipped with all necessary AV material. Lodging as well as full board and lodging can be provided, and it is possible to arrange a series of different activities in connection with the conference.

Hyttsill (hot-shop herring)
Hotell Björkängen has extensive experience in serving hot-shop herring at Kosta Glassworks. Hot-shop herring is an old tradition in the Kingdom of Crystal that goes back to the time when the blowing room was also the district’s gathering place. Visitors are invited here in the evening for food prepared in the annealing furnaces, beverages, entertainment, drinking songs and glassblowing by master artisans. A unique experience!
